Our viscera contains a rich landscape of sensory nerves that inform our body-mind experience, which may impact us physiologically and psycho-emotionally. Learn essential abdominal anatomy, contraindications and massage applications to support circulation and lymphatic flow.  A prerequisite for our Professional Abdominal Massage Courses, this workshop focuses on tending ourselves first, before another. This workshop is currently for women and afab. A gender inclusive workshop will be offered in the future.

In this 4-hour experiential workshop, we will discuss the vital roles of mechanics of the foot in load bearing and dynamic movement.

You will learn how these movement variations impact the kinetic chain from the ground up such as yet not limited to;

• floor to core (eg pelvic floor, jaw and more...)

• midline & lateral line

• tilts, shifts and torsions

You will learn assessment tools to distill greater information about your clients’ experience, grasp a deep understanding of common foot conditions (eg bunions, tarsal tunnel, plantar fasciiopathy) and how to effectively treat.

And for those who hold space for the whole-person experience, we will touch on possible psychosomatic relationships that may express through the feet.

A 3-part live workshop series containing somatic practices to connect, experience and embody your own sacred pelvic bowl. 

Journey inward with us into the cauldron of the pelvic bowl. This sacred container holds implicit connections to our core essence and serves as a foundational support system for all that stacks above and below; physically and psycho-emotionally. 

Through experiential anatomy and classical somatic movement, we invite curiosity to uncover and recover pieces of ourselves seeking integration. Exploration, sensation and communication serve as our medium of somatic internal inquisition in a communal opportunity to be held as we descend into deeper layers of ourselves. Discover the “inner cobra,” that inhabits your pelvic floor and core, and foster an illuminated sense of center to exist and move from with expanded capacity of ease, fluidity and resiliency.
